After news broke that 'Macho Man,' Randy Savage, was killed in a tragic car accident early this morning, his friends, colleagues and fans have taken to Twitter to mourn the loss of the great athlete.

Wrestler and reality show star, Hulk Hogan, was hit especially hard with the news of Savage's passing -- a friend he was just beginning to reconnect with after years of professional and personal conflict.

The pair formed wrestling duo, "Mega Powers," in the late 1980s, before Hogan booted Savage out of a 1989 Royal Rumble. The two wrestling greats squared off once again at WrestleMania V in which Hogan took home the World Title -- decimating any chance for a "Mega Powers" reunion. Adding fuel to their already flammable relationship, it was also rumored that Hogan had an affair with Savage's ex-wife, during their marriage as well as after their divorce.

"I'm completely devastated, after over 10 years of not talking with Randy, we've finally started to talk and communicate," Hogan tweeted.
