Hulk Hogan Mourns the Loss of Randy Savage
After news broke that 'Macho Man,' Randy Savage, was killed in a tragic car accident early this morning, his friends, colleagues and fans have taken to Twitter to mourn the loss of the great athlete.
Wrestler and reality show star, Hulk Hogan, was hit especially hard with the news of Savage's passing -- a friend he was just beginning to reconnect with after years of professional and personal conflict.
The pair formed wrestling duo, "Mega Powers," in the late 1980s, before Hogan booted Savage out of a 1989 Royal Rumble. The two wrestling greats squared off once again at WrestleMania V in which Hogan took home the World Title -- decimating any chance for a "Mega Powers" reunion. Adding fuel to their already flammable relationship, it was also rumored that Hogan had an affair with Savage's ex-wife, during their marriage as well as after their divorce.
"I'm completely devastated, after over 10 years of not talking with Randy, we've finally started to talk and communicate," Hogan tweeted.

While behind the wheel of his Jeep Wrangler on Friday morning, Savage suffered a heart attack, causing him to lost control of his vehicle and ultimately collide head-on with a tree.
"He had so much life in his eyes & in his spirit, I just pray that he's happy and in a better place and we miss him," Hogan continued.
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson also took to Twitter to express his condolences and to celebrate his childhood hero.
"RIP Randy "Macho Man" Savage - you were one of my childhood inspirations and heros. Strength, love and prayers to the Savage/Poffo family," Johnson tweeted.
Professional wrestler, John Cena, also chimed in on the loss the wrestling great: "The untimely passing of randy savage is indeed tragic. All true fans of wrestling will mourn this loss. One of the all time greats," he tweeted.
