'A** Cam' Gives Shoppers A View Of Their Butts

No more asking, "Do these jeans make my butt look fat?"

Now when you shop, at least at American Rag in Los Angeles, a special waist-high "Ass Cam" in the dressing room can give you a perfect backside view.

KTLA went to the denim emporium to check out the cameras, investigating just how "Butt Vision 2.0," as their reporter called it, works.

Downward-aiming cameras in the dressing room might sound invasive, but American Rag affirms that the Ass Cam is only connected to the dressing room, so no one else is checking out your butt but you.

Still, doesn't that make people feel bad about their butts? "I didn't see anyone come out sobbing,"said the store's buyer Jennifer Althouse to KTLA, "but some were definitely devastated because some jeans dont look great on some butts." Truth.

The concept sounds sort of bizarre but also quite smart, so much so that American Rag went ahead and got it trademarked. Whether the "Ass Cam" will catch on for retailers nationwide is a whole other story.
